We’re looking for a Java developer with a Health care background and extensive experience with 6 + years. Location: 7980 Century Blvd, Chanhassen, MN 55317, United States (One month initial remote possible).
Responsible for software development alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for Healthcare applications. Role will be a part of an Agile development team.
· Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best practices.
· Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
· Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
· Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
· Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
· Troubleshoot and fix software defects
· Create and maintain unit tests
· Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily standup, demo, and retrospective meetings
Required Skill set:
· Strong proficiency with Java and JavaEE libraries implementing medium to large scale enterprise applications.
· Strong proficiency building scalable solutions with Apache Tomcat server.
· Experience with web frameworks like Struts and Spring, web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, markup language like XML, JSON
· Experience building scalable solutions leveraging common integration patterns: MVC (Model-View-Controller), Repository, SOAP or RESTful web services
· Experience integrating front-end with Microsoft SQL Server using middleware services
· Experience building Rest APIs & security best practices
· Experience implementing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions using VoiceXML
· Experience with Git and Jenkins
· Experience with build tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle
· Experience implementing automated unit testing
· Ability to interface with all groups and levels to solve problems and create solutions
· High level of verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in an Agile delivery team
Preferred Skill set (s):
· Experience with Amazon Web Services & cloud platform technologies
· Experience developing solutions for healthcare vertical
· Tech Lead experience
